Product Description
Backtrack to the middle of the 20th century. Phono records were the main source of music and radio was the core of entertainment. Slowly radio was making the reluctant transition to television. For several years, Jack Benny continued his radio show while he also had an intermittent TV show. And TV was in black-&-white. That seems like a century ago. The Sylvania SRCD823 is modeled to resemble those wooden tabletop entertainment systems of the 1940's through the 1950's. It has 2 built-in speakers for stereo sound - something uncommon in that era.
There are alot of uncommon features here. For one, there's a built-in CD player. Second, there's a jack for adding optional headphones. This enables private listening.
There's an analog tuned AM/FM radio and a 3-Speed Turntable (78, 33 and 45 RPM) with cartridge. Unit has rubber skid feet to protect furniture and maintain stability
